I'm a what?!

So it's official, I'm actually a University student now. Serious head on and thinking cap for the next three years! How exciting, so I haven't updated you on my Results With Lucy Plan 3 weeks in..

But this is what I'm going to do right now, so keep tuned.
I took a slight break whilst settling in at University, but with 4 weeks until I jet off to America I need to shift a few more pounds.

So i'm feeling overall in better condition, I feel fitter and healthier and happier.

Left: Currently Right: Starting

Left 3 weeks into the programme, right beginning of the programme.

Here's a two progress photo's, I don't see any major differences. But i'm always one to point out my own flaws rather than the positives.

However here is my up to date measurements, i'll put the starting ones in too!

♡  Starting weight: 156.4lbs, Current weight: 151.6lbs = Total loss 4.8 lbs
♡ I'm still wearing size 12/14 clothes, but my jeans are becoming looser (hurrah)
♡ Hips- Starting: 37.5inches, Current: 36 Inches = Total loss 1.5 Inches
♡ Waist- Starting: 32 inches, Current: 30.5  = Total loss 1.5 Inches
♡ Bust- Starting: 38 inches, Current 36.5 Total loss 1.5 Inches

So I'm currently 4.5 Inches less all over!

Does this plan work? Yes, if you put the work in and have a healthy diet and follow the meal plan you will see results. If you're prepared and organised this plan can work, book half an hour to 45 minuets out of your day to spend working out. Pre plan your meals, if you take your lunch to work or buy out, prepare your lunch the night before. You'll thank yourself when you see results! You can head over to https://my.resultswithlucy.com/plans/ to select the right plan for you, if you're a student like myself. There is a student plan or your can use UNiDAYS to get discount.

I'll catch up in couple of weeks to show you my 6 week end results.

Week 1... Into Week 2

As promised an update on my journey with Results With Lucy.
So I'm part way through week two now, so I've survived my first week (Wooo).

How am I finding it, normally i'm used to a quick warm up and a HIIT session.
So with Results With Lucy, you have your warm up then go into 4 different other sessions (this can include full body workouts, or focussing on different parts of the body) My favourite is doing time under tension!

I'm definitely in the swing of things, whether its 10am in the morning or 10pm at night I get my workout in. I am enjoying the Wobble to Model plan, however it's just getting out of the swing of doing HIIT sessions. The workouts on this plan definitely works every part of your body and it builds up a sweat.

Week 3 I'll be posting and update photo and measurements as that will  be halfway through, I'm super excited to see changes happening.

Check back next week to see the progress!

Happier, Healthier and Getting Fitter

So if any of my lovely readers follow me on twitter, you'll know that i'm about to undertake a 6 six week intermediate plan. You'll get nothing but honest reviews and how I feel, I'm going to try and post weekly depending on my schedule at work.

As from my previous post's you may or may not know I was a little on the large side....

I decided after this photo was taken I was determined to loose weight and become healthier. I'd like to say it's been easy, truth is it hasn't. I've followed the slimming world plan which has got me to where I am today.

I'm currently at 156.4lbs, wearing size 12/14 clothes. My measurements are as follows:
♡ Hips- 37.5inches
♡ Waist- 32 inches
              ♡ Bust- 38 inches

Right now I'm happy with how I look however with weight loss comes the need to tone up your wobbly bits... And that's exactly what I plan on doing on The Results With Lucy- Wobble To Model plan.

So what is it? Wobble to Model will progressively challenge my fitness over 6 weeks, to help lose excess weight, whilst really focusing on strengthening and building muscle.

So here are some before photo's...

So six weeks first workout starts tomorrow, lets do this! Check back weekly for my updates.

Finishing college...

So for the past year I've been studying and working hard, I've not posted here for a little while. As i've been finishing off my final pieces and sitting exams.
It seems the hard work has paid off, I'm into university and i'll be on my way to achieving my dream career (How exciting)! So now I'll be off to do some stationary shopping, watch this space.

In other news it's 87 days until  I go to Florida with Jamie, we're spending 18 days in the sunshine state. I'm looking forward to a well deserved break. In the countdown to Florida I'm going to be doing my best to tone up and drop one more dress size! This girl is on a mission.

I hope you're all well, and I'm looking forward to getting back into the swing of blogging again.

Puppies & Ice Cream along with achieving that summer glow

So it's coming to the time of year where I should be getting super excited for Glastonbury. However this year i'm not booo, instead this year i'm looking forward to finishing my exams and passing my college course.

I've been rather quiet on thee old blog front lately due to working and doing college. However fear not i'm back to it bringing you the latest on my Disney planning, and my favourite buys.

Who'd have thought it's nearly summer and I'm sat indoors with tights and a thick cardigan on.. It's totally different to a few weeks ago where I was at Jennycliff feeding bailey ice cream in the sunshine.

So that leads me to my next subject my favourite buy at the minute, which has given me a lovely glow.. And that's my bondi sands every day gradual fake tanning lotion.

I've tried so many gradual tanning products before such as Garnier and Dove, however I also end up looking like and orange zebra. This gradual tanning product I use everywhere including my face, the first time I used it I have to admit I was skeptical of ending up looking like an umpa lumpa. Instead it gave me a lovely glow I tend not to use it everyday on my face, but i do on the rest of my body and I have to say it's great. It doesn't smell like fake tan, it doesn't give me streaky legs and it keeps my skin hydrated so it's 10/10 from me and it was on offer in my superdrug store! It's also a pump bottle so it's supper easy to use.

Next up I'm loving the Anastasia Beverly Hills dipbrow pomade, it's a waterproof brow colour so girls if you're going swimming this is definitely a product to use. It stays on for a long time I work sweaty hot shifts in my local hospital, and my brows are the only thing that still look in place when I finish. I couldn't recommend this enough, i've been using it for a good 2 months now and it barely looks like i've touched the pot. This is going to be one of my essentials in my make up bag when I head to florida later this year. You can buy Anastasia Beverly Hills dipbrow pomade from beauty bay for a bargain price of £15.99.

I also bought a few other products along with it! I've still not used the eyeshadows yet as i've not had the chance, as soon as I do you'll be first to hear.

So that's it I'll put a post up later in the week about how the holiday planning is coming along and how to have a magical Disney vacation!

See you real soon...

February Favourites

So recently i've got into Soap And Glory make up, I'm loving it!
As you can see 3 of their products have made it into my February favourites.

So first up is the  Soap & Glory Archery D.I.Y Brow bar- Previous to this I was a firm user of Benefit's Gimme brow, however I was finding that it was just drying up way too quickly. This brow palette is my now go to, it's so quick and easy. You can find it on the boots website here or in store.

Next up is the Soap & Glory Supercat eyeliner pen- Carbon black. This eyeliner glides on and it's so easy to get that winged eyeliner look, it's also long lasting as well as it being super affordable. You can find it here. This is one of my top buys this month.

My next favourite is my Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette- This palette you can create a subtle daytime
look, to a night time smokey eye. I'm a lover of the rose gold tone shadows in the palette, which I wear day to day! You can find it online or in your local Urban Decay counter.

I pair my Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette with Eyeshadow Primer Potion, I use my primer potion first and it instantly dries. This primer potion holds my eyeshadow all day or whilst i'm partying the night away. You only need the tiniest bit on application, so this tube is going to last a long time! Again you can find it online or in you local Urban Decay counter.

Another Soap & Glory product is One Heck Of A Blot Instant-Perfecting Power Primer. I use this before putting on any of my face products like my foundation, and it honestly keeps my face looking fresh all day. For a bargain price of £7 you can't complain, you can find it online here.

Next up is my Max Factor Creme Puff Blush in 15 Seductive Pink, it gives such a nice health glow and not a made up look. It blends so well, and with the multi tones within the blusher its easy to build up. It's a lovely everyday product to use, you can find it online or within a boots or superdrug store.

Finally L'Oreal Paris Infallible Sculpt Contour Palette Light/Medium, I've been wanting to try a cream contour palette for ages I found this in my local Superdrug and thought perfect.  I've used a few times and it's always given me a natural look, it's easy to use and it has a guide included. So for you first timers out there give this a palette a go, it might become your best friend. I got this from my local Superdrug store, you can find it online here.

So there you have it I hope you find these reviews useful, it makes a change from my Disney ramblings. If you want more like this give this post a comment!

How do you flip?!

So pancake day has gone.. February seem's as if it's flying by.
So I made my pancake batter from scratch, and here's how I did it.

100g plain flour, as you can see I used self raising flour as I wanted America Style pancakes. Which was an epic fail.
2 large eggs and 300mls of milk.
Put all the ingredients into a bowl and mix to a smooth batter. Whilst doing this I heated up my pan and sprayed some fry light to stop my pancakes from sticking!

I used nutella, strawberries and banana's for my filling as I didn't have any lemon juice in the house *BOOO*

And here's the final result....

As you can tell presentation wasn't key, but they were super yummy!

I've also got a new Vlog out which you can watch here! If you like it give it a like and subscribe.
And I'll soon be updating you when my next trip is to the place where dreams come true.
Until then.....

Is it really?

February already?! January has felt like it's whizzed by.

I've started a new job, I'm halfway through my college course and on track to get into University. Along with all of that, I have been offered my place at Plymouth University to study Adult Nursing. Which I'm super excited about, now time for the nitty gritty in applying for loans etc.

So this month first and foremost we have pancake day, which I'm off work... This means one thing, PANCAKES for breakfast! Yep you read that right, pancakes for breakfast. However it won't be syrup and nutella etc, I have to stay somewhat healthy right?

Then we Ash wednesday, this is the first day of Lent. So If you haven't cracked that new years resolution of giving up chocolate or cutting fizzy drinks, perhaps it's now time!

Finally Valentines day... Unfortunately I'm working so won't be able to spend the day with my beau. However I'm sure we'll make up for it.

As you all know my love for Florida, we were booked to go in July but have gone and changed our trip to October which is our favourite month to go. Me and Jim have set up an Instagram account which is here. We also have a newly set up twitter account which you can follow us on, finally we have been putting our vlogs up on Youtube. We both appreciate the support and if you like us give us a follow and subscribe.

I'm going to try and keep this blogging up, as i have been a little slack!
However until next time...

Florida part 3....

So we got to November 6th in my last post! You can check that out here.

So on November 7th we headed to Hollywood Studio's and guess what I did.... Only went on Hollywood Tower of Terror.  It was another hot day so we got things done pretty quickly, we went for lunch at the sci-fi dine in theatre. It was pretty tasty and i'd definitely recommend it to others, friendly service and a great set up!

November 8th, first thing we headed over to Magic Kingdom and had breakfast at Be Our Guest. It was ok, i'm not going to lie but I wouldn't go back there. After breakfast we headed over Typhoon Lagoon, was a beautiful day very hot again! Note to self next time keep hydrated and topped up on sun lotion. It was a good day had by both of us, definitely needed a sun lounger day!

November 9th off to Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow in another words Epcot! Another scorcher of a day, we got all the attractions done pretty quickly. We finished the day by heading to Finding Nemo the musical, nice cool air conditioned theatre. Which I needed. In the evening we headed to Fantasmic, however we ended up going to the see The Osborne Family Spectacle Of Dancing Lights. Which is in its final days.. So if you're around go see it before it's gone for good.

November 10th off to do what all girls love do and that is... Shopping especially when in America. We went to both the mall and outlets, and had lunch and the outlets. In the evening we went to Magic Kingdom to Mickeys Very Merry Christmas Party, which was fabulous! It got me feeling rather Christmasy.

November 11th our last full day in Orlando... BOOOO. We headed to our favourite park Universal Studio's, since The Hulk is under construction we didn't go Islands of Adventure. In the evening we headed back to Magic Kingdom for one final time so we rode Seven Dwarfs Mine train and Jamie got one last Ice cream before we went back to our hotel to finish our packing.

November 12th.... It's that time that everyone hates and thats finally packing up and going. We got our luggage together and put it in the car, we went to Disney Springs to grab some lunch before heading to the mall for last minute shopping! We stayed at the mall for a couple of hours before returning our rental car, 5 suitcases and a 7 and half hours later we get home back to England. It's safe to say we're planning our next trip already.. So stay tuned!
