Florida Part 2!

So in my last post we got to day 3 Discovery Cove!
Already 3 full days into our holiday and it felt like it was whizzing by, next stop Busch Gardens. As per last year we went and done the interaction with the Giraffes of the serengeti safari- This is an amazing experience and not one to be forgotten,  they also do really good deals on the photo package afterwards.

We caught the free shuttle bus to Busch Gardens therefore not having to drive so we stayed until closing time, so it is a slightly long day!  We finished the day off just heading straight back to Cabana Bay as we were so so tired and the next day was another early one!
As we headed to Seaworld, we were there for opening as we didn't want to spend all day there. We watched the new Clyde and Seamore show which was brilliant, and we went on all of the attractions! In the evening we headed out to go shopping at the outlets, this year I didn't think it was as good as previous years.. So hopefully next year will be better!

Such a chilly place but so wonderful to see these amazing animals so up close and personal!

On the 4th of November we were supposed to go to Aqautica but it was horrible weather so we just went to Florida Mall for shopping instead. In the evening we headed to Blue Man group, we had guest list. But if i had to pay for it I would. It was an amazing show and to be enjoyed by all!

We finished our night at NBC Sports Grill & Brew, I had the most amazing burger there and the service was fantastic. It's definitely somewhere i'd return without a doubt.

MOVING DAY... So half way through our holiday we moved to Disney's All Star Sports. Our room was quickly made up, however we went to Animal Kingdom for the day so didn't get to our room until later. First up we headed to Kilimanjaro Safari's as we had Fast passes, we actually didn't wait that long so it was pretty good. We got Animal Kingdom done pretty fast, and then we headed to our dining reservation at Rainforest Cafe. I had a turkey sandwich... Which I personally didn't like. So note to self don't get one of those again!

After Rainforest Cafe we headed back to the hotel so we could unload our cases and get into our room. For the rest of the evening we just chilled out!

6th November- Today we headed to Magic kingdom, it was a pretty sweltering day so walking around the park was a struggle especially being paled skin and the sun beaming down on me. So we didn't stay too long instead we got what we wanted doing via our fast passes and then we headed back to the hotel for a swim. In the evening we headed to Chef mickeys, we drove to the contemporary resort as we wasn't sure on what time transportation would be stopping as it was a really late reservation. It was nice but it wasn't as nice as it has been in previous years!

Anyway by now you're probably all tuning off so I'll do a part 3 so stay tuned! You can keep up to date with our Vlogs here: Natalie andJamie's

Family time, New Starts and Deadlines

It's December 1st, officially meaning I can be joyful about Christmas.
Jim bought me a Benefit advent calendar, which I am very grateful for and super excited to start opening.

I've been back in the UK just over 2 weeks and I'm having serious holiday blues, especially making the vlogs and flicking through photo's. Along with editing, I am snowed under with college assignments. However i'm getting through the pile, Mathematics and Psychology really aren't my strongest subject! I will pass them though.

I'm also in the countdown to my final shifts, I'm leaving my current job to go work in a new environment and will hopefully get me more experience to go with my Nursing degree which i'll be undertaking in September... Super excited to do something i've always wanted to do.

So this Christmas me and Jim are dividing ourselves between both our families so they all get a fair share! Last Christmas was a blessing to have off and so is this one, especially after i'm so family orientated.

We're also in the progress of making future plans for Florida... So i'm curing my holiday blues by planning a new adventure to my second home.

So....

Large wooly jumpers, long winter walks and evenings by the fire are welcomed. I wish you all well  wishes over the festive period and I hope you all have a fabulous time....

Until next time

Florida Part 1!

So i've been back under a week, I hate the UK and i'm already looking forward to going back to my second home. It was amazing, our flight out there took less time than it was supposed to we got our car upgraded for free, I drove the whole holiday without killing us which is always a bonus!!

So as soon as we touched down, we went and picked up our car and headed to Cabana Bay on Universal property. We ditched our cases and headed off to Halloween Horror Nights, I was actually really scared but come towards the end of going to the event I actually enjoyed it.
Day 1 we went to Islands of Adventure and not hearing the roar of the Hulk was just so sad!! It's currently being refurbished so we weren't able to ride. This year I actually went on water rides and managed to stay dry up until I went on Popeye & Bluto's Bilge- Rat Barges, which got me soaked. We basically finished up at Islands of Adventure, where we headed back to the hotel for a quick snooze. In the evening we headed to Halloween horror nights where we had fast passes so we did the scare houses and the scare zones it was a good night by all!

Day 2 Universal Studios, it was surprisingly quiet around the park a lot of the rides were walk on. So if you're looking to go to Orlando I'd definitely recommend during the end of October through November. In the evening we went to Mickey's not so scary party - We actually dressed up for this event!

We had a Disney photographer come over and asked us if she could take some photo's, during the Boo to you Parade Chip & Dale ran up to me giving me a hug, which was super cute!

Day 3 Finally a rest day, we headed to Discovery Cove. We had a nice early swim with the Dolphins which left our day clear to do what we wanted around the park, It was beautiful weather and considering we went on a Sunday the park was really quiet. In the evening we went to the last night of Halloween Horror Nights where we again had fast passes!

I'm just going to finish off with a photo of me and the dolphin! I plan on doing a few separate post's so I don't bore you. Anyways me and Jim will be uploading our first video soon so keep and eye out.

Until next time

Adios England

So by the time you're reading this post i'll most likely be 39,000 feet in the air, as I'm on my way to Orlando. So i'd thought i'd just share some of my in flight essentials!

So first off we have my Macbook Air- Which will help pass my 9+ hours on the plane, next up we have my Ipod filled with some classics, accompanying them are my Happy Plugs headphones which are so comfy.
Then on to the beauty, being at such a high altitude is drying, so I have my miniature simple bottle of moisturiser which is non greasy and super quick when drying. I also have my carmex lip balm citrus twist, I always find my lips get so chapped and dried out if I don't keep on top of them being moisturised. Finally we have my Rimmel BB cream- Which I won't be wearing when I board the plane, I'll apply this about an hour before I land so I don't look like I'm something from The Walking Dead. I also have my No7 Mascara which is waterproof, long lasting which is essentially something you want when you're going to a hot country!
Last but not least this is an absolute god send of a product and if you have thick hair like mine and you don't have this product already I recommend it highly and it's a tangle teezer! I have a compact one and a normal size one which is currently in my large case.

Before I left I went and got my nail's done which are acrylics with Shellac, I had them done in a quaint nail boutique which Is local to me. I am so pleased in how the nail art came out!

Here's a couple of photo's from my journey to London Gatwick and the view from my hotel room.
Anyways I'll see you all In two weeks time!

Autumn is in full swing!

So I know Autumn started back in September, but today fully felt like Autumn. So hiya, I welcome you with open arms. The evenings get darker and the days are colder. It's time for cozy nights snuggled up and long walks wrapped up. Guess what?! That's exactly what I did today.

It's been lovely being able to spend time outside embracing nature and this season, I love the vibrant colours that Autumn brings. Along with the change in weather also brings sniffling colds, some products that I have found in quick healing are Sudafed decongestion tablets and Night Nurse, helping me kick that cold, I also swear by Blistex relief cream helping with those chapped lips as well. All of these products are locally available from you're local supermarket or drug store.

So enough of my tips on kicking your colds, today I went for a lovely walk with the family around Thetford forest park- Which is in Shouldham. We took all four dogs and it was so nice to see them run free, there was barely any other walkers there so the dogs stayed of their leads for most of the walk. Today is our last full day in Norfolk- BOOO, but it has been lovely and I couldn't of asked for a much nicer day. We've finished it off by having a lovely beef stew. So tomorrow we're travelling back to Plymouth and I think I might do a youtube video soon.. Not sure yet.

Here's a few photo's from today!
Anyway I hope you all have a magical weekend, until next time!

What goes bang in the night...

So me and Jim have gone on a little adventure before our travels to Florida. As random as it is we've taken a trip to Norfolk to surprise his nan before we jet off, she didn't have a clue we were coming and her reaction was priceless. I put a little video on instagram which you can check out, we arrived just after 2:30am! Sat around the kitchen table had a little chat and we the went to bed, today we've gone to an outlet place in Spalding. Where I got my fabulous suitcase which i'm sure you'll be seeing soon via my instagram and the blog!

I got a few little bits including some directions semi permanent hair dye..I'm feeling a change coming on. I also stumbled upon this cute little sweet shop, they had so much variety it was so hard to choose!

I'm absolutely adoring being around the dogs and having plenty of play fights, and playing fetch. Unfortunately it's back to reality on Saturday, joy oh joy. However I only have 5 more shifts until holiday!

The next blog post will most likely be a packing post so I'll see you then!

They're real.. Review

So recently I've done a lot of shopping as some of you may or may not know, I'm now a student. With that comes some good discounts! I currently have an app called UNiDAYS, any students out there I certainly recommend this app. Anyhow enough of that, with all the discount and money saving I thought I'd treat myself to some Benefit make up. I love trying out new eyeliners, I'm currently using Maybelline master precise liquid eyeliner. It gives a crisp line and is so easy to use, and it lasts all day. However I wanted to see what the ranting and raving was about this new They're Real push up eyeliner, I went to my local benefit where I purchased a real tempting threesome- This contains a full size they're real push up eyeliner, a miniature they're real mascara, and they're real remover. For £18.50 this is an amazing deal, it's actually the same price as the eyeliner just on it's own.
Anyway today is my first day off since buying this eyeliner so I thought i'd try it out and give it a review. So first off it comes with a small yellow orange plug in, take the plug out and give the pen a few clicks until the product is visible, swipe the excess product across the top of your hand and you're ready to go! I'm a keen liquid liner girl,  however this gel liner is amazing and goes on lovely. You can build up your look whether you're having a simple thin line across your lash line or you're going for a statement cate eye look. I normally just go for a subtle cat eye look. I used my primer from Urban Decay to prevent any transfer, this liner is waterproof so great for days at the beach!
Overall this liner is long lasting and will stay on through the whole day which all us girls want, it's easy application is a bonus. However I haven't been converted from my liquid liner, but i will be taking this liner to Florida and using it regularly for day to day wear around the parks. Who know's come the end of two weeks I might be converted we shall see!
I'll post of photo of my finished look using the They're real push up liner below...

ps It's 19 days until Florida! I'm so excited.
Until next time, I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!

Dismaland fun...

So I haven't posted on here in a while.. So whilst i've been away, I was very lucky and Jamie managed to get us some tickets to Dismaland. We went the second week it was open, we went with Jay's Auntie and Uncle. Before we headed to Weston- Super -Mare it was only right we headed to Bristol for a little bit of shopping, we left Plymouth around 8:30am it took me an hour and half to drive to Bristol. Pretty good going!
I bought a couple of cute stationary bits, as I have gone back to college. Other than that I think the shops in cribs have gone down hill!

Our ticket was to enter at 2pm, the queue's were absolutely mental. After half an hour of queuing we got in! It certainly wasn't a breath taking view, and i certainly didn't get the goose pimples you get when you first enter Magic Kingdom and see Cinderella's castle. Instead it was rather dismal.. Just like the attraction name states. Anyhow, it was a lovely day out, I'll pop a couple of photo's on for your viewing!

So there we have, it Dismaland was a good day out had by all! If only if it was kept up.
I'm back at college now which is pretty full on, but I love it!
It's now only 25 days until Florida, it's come around so fast. So excited, that's it for now i'll try and keep on top of writing a blog each month.

Big changes have gone down...

So I've had a nice change, I've gone to the dark side. By the dark side I don't mean I've became a Death Eater.. I've had my hair colour changed! I absolutely love it, with the weather how it is and how we've pretty much had a none existent summer. I thought out with the light and in with the dark! However knowing me I'll want to be back to a lighter shade come a few weeks.
Anyway here is the finished result.....

I also had a little trim as my ends were becoming very dry and crispy!

FLORIDA UPDATE...

So for those who don't already know I am off to Florida in 78 days, I couldn't be more excited. We've booked all our tickets now including our train tickets to Gatwick. Me and Jim Jam need to practice our Vlogging skills as we're sure to be picking up the camera and vlogging our trip! Also in the pipe line is another trip in July, with Jim Jam's family. However we're waiting for Virgin Atlantic to put their flights up so we can check out the costings.

Anyway that's it for now, keep an eye out for future posts and possibly a Youtube video!

It's finally happened!!

So it's happened, my holiday countdown in now into double digits. It's officially all paid off all we have to do now is pay off our Universal tickets and Discovery cove which should be done by the end of August! We got a great deal on Attraction Tickets Direct, where you can put a £10 deposit per person and that secures them as long as you pay them off 28 days before you. They also throw in a few goodies as well, like an underwater camera and vouchers etc. So if you're shopping around on where to get your tickets for Orlando I highly recommend this company.

Even though it's 99 days it'll fly by!

Here's my cute little countdown with a photo of Hogwarts Castle which I took back in 2013. The app is dream days.

Anyway enough about the holiday as i'm sure i'll be spamming the blog in the next coming months. Recently i've been lacking motivation on the weight loss front, however yesterday i've decided to get back on the wagon and focus on losing 2 stone before Florida which = a 2lb weight loss each week, which is very do able if your mind is in the right place!
So last night I cooked from scratch a Spaghetti Bolognese a recipe from Slimming world which is free you just add sins for any cheese you may have. I also made some home made garlic bread to go on the side, I however only at the non cheesy slice. It was so tasty and filling and I even had leftovers, which I shall be having for my lunch!

You can find the recipe on the Slimming World website, it's easy to follow and make!

And here is a lovely before and during photo, seeing the first photo is something I never want to go back to. That's the photo that started the weight loss journey, I'll stop when I can say yeah I feel comfortable in my own skin which will be soon! Just remember results don't happen overnight.

Joint Birthday Celebrations & Glastonbury

So this blog post is way overdue, but I've been finishing off my NVQ! Working and I went off to Glastonbury Festival.

So first off I've finally turned 22, me and one of my good friends Erin our birthday's our like days apart. So it made sense to do joint celebrations, my lovely auntie did my hair and did my lashes for me! So we started the night at mine and had some pre drinks after we headed into Plymouth, was a really good night and it was lovely to spend it with my best friends!

So after the weekend of birthday celebrations it was time to pack my festival back pack, and head to Glastonbury Festival. We left Plymouth just after 4pm got into Glastonbury town centre just before 7pm, we had our annual Chinese meal before heading to the car park. Luckily for us as we headed to the car park it was open early at 8pm, so we got a space pretty close to the entrance!
Wednesday morning arrived it was time to climb that hill to the gate, I have never ever been in such and unorganised mess to get into a festival. People were pushing barriers  down and cutting in so my festival was already off to a bad start! Then Jim got a tent without an inbuilt groundsheet, so come the end of the festival I could of filmed another Bugs life film.

Again this year I spent a lot of time in the theatre and cabaret field! I ventured to Shangri-la, never again. The crowd control was atrocious, I don't expect it to be military crowd control but I do expect some crowd control. It was just bodies everywhere, if i'm honest Glastonbury Festival has became very commercialised and people go there for all the wrong reasons. I did see some great acts, but unfortunately I spent most of the time worrying about whether my bag was going to get nicked, or having to keep battling through people. The majority of the time I saw people doing drugs, to the extent there was a parent with a toddler on their mothers shoulders and she was taking mushrooms... It seemed to me the Police were very blind to this, unfortunately I doubt I will be heading to the Festival again. Unless they clamp down on the drug issues.

I had great company but the bad outweighs the good, next year i'll just head away! So sorry Glastonbury you just don't do it no more for me.

However here's so positivity It's nearly in double digits for my holiday countdown! We've got a little left to pay and we're done, just a few tickets to buy and we're set. I'm so excited just to get away from England and have me time! So from now on expect a few more blog post's from me.

Unit next time....

Festival Essentials!

So first off I haven't posted on here for like over a month? Life got in my way and i've been busy finishing off my NVQ work!

So yesterday I was out with a friend and I thought with only a couple of weeks until Glastonbury I better get my stuff sorted, so I've gone into Boots and Superdrug and picked up what I take.

So first of Oral hygiene, I am a bit of a stickler when it comes to oral hygiene and just because i'm at a festival i'm not giving up on brushing my teeth! I couldn't think of anything worse than not having clean teeth and a minty fresh breath. I bought a mini toothpaste and a new toothbrush which are both from boots. Boots have a cracking deal on their miniatures 3 for 2!

So this deodorant I'm loving the smell of at the minute and not to mention it was on offer in Superdrug! I normally carry two deodorants, one in my bag and one I leave behind in the tent. This is because if it gets hot or whatever I don't want to be smelling so it's always handy to carry one in your bag.

Hair care, so I've got a batiste dry shampoo for the days that I won't be washing my hair. I got this this dry shampoo from Superdrug it's currently on offer, so if you're going to a festival and need to stock up on dry shampoo the get to Superdrug! Secondly some more miniatures, Aussie shampoo and conditioner. When i'm at Glastonbury I normally take a solar shower just because down to personal preference after a few days of not washing my hair I feel horrible my head itches etc. And there's nothing better than washing my hair it makes me feel instantly fresh!

Another miniature! So for those of you that have the patience to wait and got to the showers a mini shower gel! Smells amazing. However I normally just get a bowl of water and use my wet wipes and put a bit of the shower gel on and give myself a freshen up and I feel instantly fresh.

Skin care, this goes all out of the window cleansing and toning etc. I just wash my face in cold water and then just slap a bit of moisturiser on when at Glastonbury!

So first off some feminine wipes, these are just a cheaper version of femfresh and it keeps your lady parts clean! Secondly we have hand sanitiser, my best friend! I carry a hand sanitiser wherever I go even if i'm not at a festival. So the toilets do have hand sanitiser but you can almost guarantee that it will all be gone come the end! So it's always handy to carry your own.

Lastly Paracetamol, so for all you party go'ers at the festival when you drink what normally happens the morning after... A hangover! So a couple of these and you're good to go again. However I'm not a hardcore party go'er I normally just carry these for the pure fact I'm surrounded by loud music and the sun and I get a headache a few of these and keeping on top of my hydration... That headache soon becomes a distant memory!

So there are more essentials, but I should imagine by this point you're all totally bored!
